Research for Sustainable Development (FONA)
Research for Sustainable Development develops decision-making tools for future oriented action and delivers innovative solutions for a sustainable society. With this third framework programme (FONA3), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) aims to support sustainability research in Germany.
„Ressourceneffiziente Kreislaufwirtschaft – Bauen und Mineralische Stoffkreisläufe (ReMin)“
The funding guideline "Resource Efficient Circular Economy - Construction and Mineral Material Cycles (ReMin)" is a measure for implementing the BMBF research concept "Resource Efficient Circular Economy" and part of the strategy "Research for Sustainable Development - FONA". The aim of the funding is to further promote the expansion of the circular economy. The focus is on the construction industry with its high demand for raw materials and the expanded use of secondary raw materials from construction waste, slag, ash and mining residues.
„Ressourceneffiziente Kreislaufwirtschaft – Kunststoffrecyclingtechnologien (KuRT)“
With the funding measure "Resource Efficient Circular Economy - Plastics Recycling Technologies (KuRT)", the BMBF supports innovative research to promote new and existing plastics recycling technologies to a higher level and, at the same time, to ensure their integration into the entire value chain in terms of circularity.
