The Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA) is an EU regulation that aims to ensure that the European Union has unrestricted access to important raw materials. Municipal waste management has a role to play here, as waste is a potential source of these important raw materials. Through effective recycling and proper separation of waste, valuable raw materials can be recovered, which not only secures supply but also has a positive environmental impact.
The conference, which will take place in Dortmund and online on 26 October 2023, will address these issues and examine future options for action.
